Gamesa’s Development Skills program has been recognised in the Cegos y Equipos & Talento Best 2011 HR Practices prizes. This initiative, shortlisted in the Training and Development award category, has already been named the top energy sector project across all prize categories: Training and Development, Organisational Management and Selection and Integration. The jury, which will make its final decision in October, described Gamesa Corporate University’s Leadership School as an innovative institution with a strong and well-aligned commitment to the company’s strategy and values, particularly its noteworthy growth and international expansion processes. The Development Skills program is one of the core programs at the heart of Gamesa University’s Leadership School. In 2010, the company devoted 27,327 hours to skills training.
